Calculate the deadline
When the deadline looks wrong
- If the effective date is earlier than the calculated deadline, move the change date or send the notice sooner.
- If different customer segments use different notice periods, calculate each segment separately instead of sharing one deadline.
- If your agreement uses business days, receipt dates, or portal delivery rules, flag the segment for manual review.
- If the notice method changes, save proof of the delivery channel alongside the deadline math.
